Venue Details
Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop was established in 1987 by a group of artists as a centre for sculptural activities. No such resource existed then in Edinburgh and we are still a unique provider of sculpture and related visual arts facilities in the city.
Although the organisation is no longer artist-led, ESW has put in place management systems which ensure that their artistic development is informed directly by artists and their members. This means that the organisation remains in touch with contemporary practice and responsive to new developments and directions and that our services remain relevant to the needs of artists.
