In celebration of the 70th birthday of John Bellany the Gallery is mounting this major retrospective. It features work from all periods of his career, from the early paintings of fisher-folk through the more expressionist work of the 70s and 80s that reflected the artist's battles with inner demons and physical illness, to his more recent richly coloured allegorical paintings. This is the largest retrospective of Bellany's work for 25 years and is a proud celebration of a major Scottish artist. Click here for more information.
